1. Our Principles
We want you to learn what you came for. If EdEarn isn't working out, you should be able to get your money back without an argument.
This Refund Policy explains what's refundable, what isn't, and how to request a refund. It applies to all paid products on EdEarn — courses, subscriptions, wallet top-ups, and B2B plans.
2. One-Time Course Purchases
Eligible for a 100% refund if:
• You request within 30 days of purchase
• You've completed less than 30% of the course (lesson progress + quizzes combined)
Not eligible if:
• More than 30 days have passed
• You've completed 30% or more of the course
• You've already downloaded course resources/PDFs marked "non-refundable"
• The purchase was a gift / promo redemption
How to request: Settings → Wallet → Transactions → "Request Refund" on the relevant transaction. We process refunds within 5–7 business days back to the original payment method.
3. Subscriptions
3.1 Cancellation
You can cancel any subscription at any time from Settings → Billing. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.
3.2 Refunds for Subscriptions
• Monthly plans — non-refundable for the current period; cancel before the renewal date
• Annual plans — pro-rated refund within 14 days of payment, minus a 10% processing fee
• Free trials — no charge if cancelled before the trial ends
3.3 Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions auto-renew. We email you 7 days before each renewal. If a renewal charge is processed despite a prior cancellation, contact us — we refund 100%.
4. Wallet Top-Ups
Wallet credits are non-refundable once added, with two exceptions:
• Duplicate / accidental top-ups (within 24 hours)
• Top-ups affected by a payment-gateway error
Promotional credits, gift credits, and referral bonuses are never refundable in cash and may have expiration dates shown at the time of issue.
5. Live Classes & Events
5.1 Cancelled by EdEarn / Tutor
If a live class is cancelled before it starts, you receive a 100% refund automatically — no request needed.
5.2 Cancelled by You
• 24+ hours before — 100% refund
• 4–24 hours before — 50% refund
• Less than 4 hours before — non-refundable
5.3 Technical Issues
If a class is interrupted by a technical issue on EdEarn's side that prevents 50%+ of the session from running, we issue a 100% refund or replacement session.
6. B2B Plans (Companies & Startups)
Bulk seats, custom plans, and enterprise contracts are governed by your signed Master Service Agreement. The default terms:
• Annual contracts: pro-rated refund within 30 days of activation
• Mid-term cancellation: refund of unused months minus 15% restocking fee
• Setup / onboarding fees are non-refundable once delivered

7. What's Never Refundable
• Certificates of completion (digital, issued instantly)
• Verified badges and verification fees
• Job application fees (if any) once submitted to a company
• Gift cards once redeemed
• Donations or pay-what-you-want contributions
• Currency conversion fees levied by your bank or card network
8. How to Request a Refund
Step 1 — Open Settings → Wallet → Transactions
Step 2 — Find the transaction and click "Request Refund"
Step 3 — Pick a reason and add optional notes
Step 4 — Submit. You'll get a confirmation email instantly.
Step 5 — We process within 5–7 business days. The refund hits your original payment method (refunds via Razorpay can take up to 14 days to reflect on Indian bank statements).
Can't access your account? Email refunds@edearn.com from the email on file.
9. Disputes & Chargebacks
If you disagree with a refund decision, reply to the rejection email or escalate to disputes@edearn.com — a senior team member reviews within 5 business days.
We strongly prefer you contact us before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks trigger automatic account suspension while the bank investigates, which delays your refund and may block re-purchases.
